Early Production in Unreal - Building the Foundation

Hi everyone,

We’re officially deep into production on A Minute Of Your Time!

At this stage, most of our work is happening directly inside Unreal Engine. While we’re still fairly early in the development cycle, the foundation for each of our levels is now fully built out. The “bones” of the environments are in place, and we’ve begun populating them - transforming them from flat layouts into fully 3D, interactive spaces.

Seeing the world take shape in-engine has been incredibly rewarding. Walking through these environments in first person has helped us better understand scale, pacing, and how players will naturally move through each space. For the first time, the game world feels less like a collection of ideas and more like a place you can exist in.

Alongside environment work, all of our core gameplay systems, mechanics, and UI framework are now laid out and becoming functional. This includes the tools players use to observe, identify, and resolve anomalies across timelines. While much of this will continue to be refined and polished, having these systems working together has allowed us to focus on iteration rather than invention.

One of these elements is the player HUD UI, presented through a futuristic visor, worn while navigating the multiverse. This interface is designed to feel integrated into the world rather than layered on top of it, reinforcing the idea that the player is actively interfacing with anomalies.

As development continues, we’re eager to move toward a playable demo and begin gathering feedback through early play-testing.

Thank you for following along as A Minute Of Your Time continues to evolve. As the year comes to a close, the entire team at JACE Gaming Studio wants to wish you a happy holiday season and thank you for the support and encouragement you’ve shown so far.

Cheers to 2026,
– JGS
